IES Consulting performed energy modelling for LEED V4 on 10 Boulevard Grenelle in Paris.
IES Consulting performed energy modelling for LEED V4 on 10 Boulevard Grenelle located in Paris. It is composed of three buildings across 2, 11 and 17 floors with a total area of approximately 31,000 m². The buildings comprise mainly commerical office space and were conditioned by a reversible radiant ceiling. The hot water is served by heat pumps with a connection to the heating network CPCU, cooling water is provided by the network CLIMESPACE.
The study was conducted to assess performance and document EAp2/EAc1 for LEED V4 with the model run through the Performance Rating Method (PRM) of ASHRAE 90.1-2010 Appendix G using IESVE Building energy simulation software.
The analysis demonstrated the proposed building achieved a 26% energy reduction and a 15% running cost reduction compared to the Baseline. This reduction achieves 7 points for the EAc1 credit.
