IES Consulting modelled the impact on daylight from a proposed extension at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Dublin.
The Liffey Valley Shopping Centre is a mixed leisure development consisting of entertainment, commercial and retail premises. The extension is set around a large public plaza and pedestrian friendly streetway. IES Consulting modelled the impact of the proposed extension on sunlight amenity, daylight, glare and overshadowing for a mix of the plaza, transient spaces and site surroundings. BRE guidance documentation was applied where available to communicate the simulation findings.
