VE Tech Tips - Tabular Space Data

Tabular Space Data allows users to rapidly inspect and modify standard thermal attributes, internal gains and air exchanges for spaces in their models. In this Tech Tip, we explore using tabular space data to quickly view, compare or edit data within the VE, share this data via Excel, and apply any changes.

This VE Tech Tip explains:

• How to view tabular space data in a window which can be resized and moved while you work; making it possible to see the geometry, at the same time as editing the data, for one or more spaces.
• How to change your selection whilst viewing the data, and how this can be made easier by creating space groups.
• How to use the tabular space data import and export functions, including tips on how to: 
  • Export data into a spreadsheet to share with project team members who don’t have the VE
  • Import any changes made in Excel back into the VE
  • Copy space data into a document for a report
