We are delighted to announce that IES TaP, our award winning online BREEAM project management system now supports BREEAM UK New Construction V6 scheme. The new scheme is a minor update simply to reflect the updated Building Regulations in England for Energy (Part L) and Ventilation (Part F2) that came into force on 15 June 2022. The summary of changes is available to view here.
The BREEAM UK NC V6 final manual has officially been launched by the BRE and is live for registrations against the new scheme.
The BREEAM UK New Construction 2018 scheme will continue to be available on the IES TaP system alongside the BREEAM UK New Construction V6 scheme in line with the BRE approach, recognising not all projects in England will be following the updated Part L 2021 Building Regulations.
"We are pleased that we with the BRE continue to have a joined-up approach to BREEAM scheme release, so that IES can continue to deliver our value add, online project management system IES TaP to our customers in a timely way." - Gary Nixon, Senior Business Development Manager at IES.
