The IES TaP team is pleased to announce the release of the latest update to the IES TaP for BREEAM project management system. This update brings support for the latest scheme from the BRE, BREEAM International New Construction Version 6 which hosts new & improved features that build upon BREEAM’s industry-leading standards for driving environmental performance.
The BRE explains that “The primary aim of Version 6 is to mitigate the life cycle impacts of new buildings on the environment in a robust & cost effective manner.”
As with our BREEAM International 2016 product, this new update brings automated, real-time integration with the BREEAM Projects platform for submission of assessments for QA and BREEAM certification so BREEAM assessors can gain even more efficiencies in their assessment process.
Gary Nixon of IES explained, “We are pleased to be working with the BRE on this latest update to IES TaP for BREEAM, with BREEAM International version 6 being the latest scheme added to the product. We will continue to work with the BRE as they move to their exciting new BREEAM Platform this year."
