Mario Ragusini, Senior ICL Project Consultant at IES is presenting at Education Estates 2021 alongside our client Gillian Brown, Energy Manager at University of Glasgow. Their session 'Cutting-edge Collaboration: A campus digital twin project to meet rigorous 2030 climate targets' will take place on the University Stage during the Power of Data session from 12:15pm - 1:15pm on Wednesday, 13th October 2021 at Manchester Central.
A visually dynamic presentation, followed by a Q&A session, which will tell the story of an exciting collaboration between the University of Glasgow and IES. The project is using digital twins to dramatically reduce energy consumption of the new University of Glasgow Western Campus, as well as other existing campus buildings, in order to meet ambitious 2030 net-zero targets. Whilst at the same time engaging with engineering students in a Living Lab collaboration which brings together applied teaching, research and zero-carbon building/campus management within a single, holistic Digital Twin.
