We're pleased to announce we are hosting a 2-Day ApacheHVAC & ASHRAE 90.1 for LEED & Estidama training course from Wednesday 30th - Thursday 31st October 2018 in Dubai, UAE.
This course will show how the IESVE can be used to create and dynamically simulate detailed HVAC plant networks using IES's ApacheHVAC tool. The course will also cover how to perform ASHRAE load calculations to size equipment in the networks. Attendees will also receive a free 30-day training licence and an IESVE training certificate.
Attendees of this course should already be familiar with the ModelIT, VistaPro and ApacheSim applications. If you are new to the software, you can sign up and complete our prerequisite training courses online before the session so you will be fully prepared.
Cormac Glynn, Senior Project Consultant
Cormac has 10 years of experience working in the Consultancy division of IES. While mostly based in Dublin he has served in the Glasgow, Atlanta and San Francisco offices, working on high profile building simulation projects, also providing training and support to IES users across the world. Applying his knowledge in building physics (heat transfer, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics), he assists the design team to achieve their low energy targets. He is regularly invited to speak as an expert speaker for workshops and seminars throughout the UK. More recently he has become proficient in Python programming and now works towards the goal of increasing the productivity of all IES users, by developing scripts to automate many of the tedious tasks involving energy modelling.
