IES is pleased to announce that we will be holding a one-day training course in the new Parametric Tool and Hone products, in London on Thursday 17 August 2017.
Parametric Tool enables users to create and automatically run a series of Apache simulations for changes in one or more input parameters (e.g. room setpoints or lighting gains). Parametric Tool is run outside the usual Virtual Environment interface, and avoids the the need for manual parameter changes.
Hone is an optimisation tool run outside the usual Virtual Environment interface. Via multiple Apache simulations, Hone allows you to find the optimal building design parameters to achieve selected objectives, saving time and cost. Hone converges on your optimal design parameters quickly and accurately using an optimisation algorithm.
The course will cover the following:
Discounted rate: £250 + VAT per person
Standard rate: £400 + VAT per person
Discounted rate ends 31 July.
To book: Add the session to your cart and purchase or email email@example.com
If you have any other questions please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Note: Attendees must first have had training in (or be competent in) ApacheSim and VistaPro. Please note you will be required to bring your own laptop to the training event with the latest version of the VE (and relevant licences) already installed. We will provide you with temporary training licences in advance of the training. These temporary licences will include multiple licences of ApacheSim, to allow you to perform multiple simulations at the same time. Full details will be sent to you on receipt of your booking. Minimum system requirements can be viewed here.
