We're pleased to announce that IES will be hosting software training for 2016 Title 24 Compliance for Nonresidential Buildings on Tuesday 17th October in San Francisco.
This one-day training will provide hands-on experience on how to import or create model geometry, enter required data for building, climate, and systems, and perform simulations and generate compliance reports.
If you plan to use your own laptop computer, you will need to install two software downloads; 'IESVE for Engineers’ and ‘CBECC-Com’ at least two days in advance of the training. A limited number of training laptops will be available on the day.
This is an intermediate level training. The trainees should already be familiar with the 2016 Title 24 Energy Standards for Nonresidential Buildings. Trainees should understand basic inputs for modeling common building envelope details, electric lighting, and HVAC systems. The goal is that at the end of the training participants have the basic skills needed to begin using the software for 2016 Title 24 compliance documentation for nonresidential buildings.
The training is free to attend.
