Technical Details

The VE-Navigator for OTTV Malaysia allows you to easily and quickly perform OTTV calculations without tables and manual calculations. It provides a logical workflow to guide users through the OTTV calculation process. With the help of a 3D model and sunpath solar shading technique, the OTTV calculation can be performed with a few simple setups and it can even be used for complex building design. The same model can be used further for other simulation tasks like dynamic energy simulation, daylight harvesting analysis and CFD air flow analysis to optimise building performance. 

The IESVE tool also fulfills the requirements for energy simulation programs listed in MS1525:2007 section 10.5 and have been validated with ASHRAE 140 tests, which is suitable for Building Energy Intensity (BEI) calculation.
