IES are committed to spending up to 30% of revenue on Research and Development projects in order to enhance the existing IES suite of products and develop new innovative products and technology to increase growth and competitiveness of the company.

IES are experienced managers of collaborative research projects and have been successful with producing commercially viable and marketable products as a result.

IES have been successful with acquiring both National and European funding through Scottish Enterprise, the UK Technology Strategy Board (TSB), European Framework Programme 7 (FP7) and European Competitiveness and Innovation (CIP) Framework Programme.
