Experts in building performance analytics, IES, has announced the opening of a new office in Masdar City in the Middle East. Further expanding its global presence, this office becomes the seventh for IES, with offices running in India, North America, Australia, Singapore, and Dublin and its headquarters in Glasgow.
The new office will be run by Michelle Farrell; IES’s Head of Middle East. Michelle has been on the IES team for almost 10 years, and brings a wealth of experience in sustainable architecture and engineering. In previous years, Michelle has successfully headed-up the IES European division.
“The Middle East is at the forefront of the sustainable building design movement and I am very excited to be a part of it”, says Michelle Farrell. “Demand for IES products and services is growing in the region, and I am delighted that we can now offer our clients and prospective customers a local point of contact.”
Although this marks a significant occasion for IES in the Middle East, the company has already established itself in the region over the years, having worked on high profile projects such as the Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi Global Market Square and Dubai Opera House.
Michelle will be representing IES at many of the regions events throughout 2017, through speaking engagements and exhibitions.
