CIBSE Scotland Region Seminar: Hydronic Closed System Optimisation with Post Occupancy Monitoring

Glasgow, United Kingdom

We're delighted that Mark Gifford, Technical Sevices Manager for IES will be presenting at the CIBSE Scotland Region: Hydronic Closed System Optimisation with Post Occupancy Monitoring seminar on 29th October 2019 in Glasgow, alongside speakers from Geberit and HASL.

The seminar aims to:

  • Discuss the issue of how using carbon steel in closed circuit pipework systems risks corrosion.
  • Describe how post occupancy and long term monitoring of pipework systems can detect and reduce this corrosion risk.
  • Explain how to use operational building data harvested from the in-use systems feedback into the design process.

Mark will provide a demonstration of new cutting-edge IES software tools and project methodologies to showcase how data analytics methods can be used to support the optimisation of closed-loop pressurised pipework systems over time. Mark will use case studies to illustrate how operational feedback can be used within design stage dynamic thermal modelling and energy modelling activities to assist in developing design for performance vs design for compliance industry trends.

This event can be counted as 2 hours of CPD.
