Many buildings do not perform as planned - in some cases this can impact on running costs, staff and client satisfaction and performance, health, safety and comfort.
Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) refers to the process of evaluating buildings in a systematic and rigorous manner after they have been occupied for some time. Using our advanced data visualisation and modelling technology we can combine occupant feedback with operational data collected from BMS and utility Metring infrastructure to deliver a comprehensive POE service which maps back to original design intentions.
Our POE service ensures that optimal operation is achieved; learning from and correcting past mistakes in design and commissioning can be extremely cost-effective and greatly improve workplace productivity.
Occupant and client consultation:
> Environmental comfort and control over environmental conditions
> Building impact on productivity and performance, staff and user retention and motivation
> Customer experience and user satisfaction with amenities, image and layout
> Review of design, procurement, construction and handover processes
Monitoring of environmental conditions: including temperature, noise, light, air quality, ventilation and relative humidity
Assessment of design quality: assessment of design quality and building performance against design intentions, industry benchmarks and good practice
Sustainability and utility audits: measurement and demonstration of the environmental performance of the building in use, to inform property management and energy efficiency strategies
