Our Commissioning Management services cover all levels of the building commissioning process; Fundamental, Enhanced and Continuous. They can be implemented singularly or in combination, and if wished can be integrated with our building tuning services that use the very latest in data visualisation, 3D modelling and simulation.
Fundamental Commissioning: the minimum process level required by the USGBC for LEED certification (EAp1), covering:
Enhanced Commissioning: to meet the additional LEED credit (EAc3) and cover commissioning of non-LEED scope. These services are intended to begin prior to the commencement of the construction documents phase and include:
Continuous Commissioning: A Measurement & Verification process ensures all systems are performing as specified and identifies any anomalies in equipment, operations procedures or user habits in the year after construction completion. By undertaking this at regular periods throughout a building’s lifecycle you can ensure that optimal operation is continuously achieved as the building’s profile changes. This can help reduce energy costs, assist with refurbishment and, over time, document and improve the efficiencies of energy conservation measures.
Measurement & Verification: recording actual performance over the course of occupancy, and comparing that data with the estimated performance seen in design. It can be applied to a variety of metrics including water use and indoor environmental quality. However, the LEED EAc5 credit focuses only on energy performance. Our services adhere to IPMVP (International Performance Measurement & Verification Protocol) and cover the 3 main routes:
